I am amazed at how beautiful human beings are.
We are so free, we can even determine how much of our beauty people around us wll perceive.
It has little to do with physical appearance and everything to with the maintenance we give our heart. We neglect it too often, and convince ourselves it is invisible, so why bother keeping it up?
We should not let weeds strangle the garden of our soul. Bitterness should never be used as a fertilizer, nor jealousy as the means to water it, and anger must never be the sunbeams that we allow to warm or sear our harvest of flowers.
Who wants a garden filled with wilted flowers, with petals so fragile they break when they come in contact with awkward, sometimes harsh fingers?
The blossoms of our heart are burgeoning, let us make sure they are strong enough to withstand the moans and menace of the winds, yet tender enough to continue hanging onto branches and stems, until they burts with colour all around us and fill our lives with a vibrant palette of love.

Rebeca's cause
Two years now.
Two years of tears, heartbreak and dreams held dear crashing, scattered like glass beneath my feet.
She was so lovely, she is lovely. Why does she allow that boy to treat her like his possession?
He has prepared a poisoned banquet for her, and she has had a feast.
She doesn't see her youth fading, the dreams changing, the stars in her eyes that have vanished from her eyes.
No more. She will not shed one more tear. I won't allow it.
She is trapped in a prison of abuse. Her soul clamors to be free, but her heart has stifled the plea.
I will fight for her. She is too special to let go.
She is 17. She is young. She is Rebeca. She is my sister.

You are the pendant of God's soul
Dearest friends:
How was your day? Did someone say something hurtful to you and now you carry the sting of their words in your souil? Did you have a hard time at work, at the grocery store, while driivng home?
Beloved, please leave it all behind. Shake off the disappointnmts of the day, take a deep breath and look at yoursefl in the mirror. What do you see? An average face and body? No.
You see a jewel, a precious gem. Once, you had stars in your eyes but they were plucked, one by one, by too many hurtful remarks, cynical attitudes and bad manners. Your face used to reflect the glory of the heavens, but the radiance dimmed until you are convinced it is too late for you, that you have made too many mistakes.
Nothing could be further from the truth. You are a masterpiece, God breathed His sacred breath on the inside of you. You are a melange of eternity, passion, talents and love. Don't you feel the essence of Almighty God flowing through your entire being, taking root in your entrails, becoming a part of your DNA?
You have a unique scent pouring from your every pore. Quit hiding your talents and beauty. Let them out.
Do you know you are so special Almighty God cannot start His day without you? You are the pendant of His soul and every day, He wears you upon a golden chain tumbling down His chest, where you shall twirl upon His heartstrings throughout eternity.
God bless you all. I send you my garlands of hugs and rainbows to shine over your horizons every day of your lives.
